Captivating......sensationally motivational!!!” Is how Sean R. Muhammad is often described. Known as “GEN.EX” in the world of Hip~Hop music, he has a very gifted talent as speaker, teacher and as an artist (on the mic and as a producer). He utilizes crafty poetic prose and knowledge of socially popular culture to reach people in the most lively and vividly colorful ways imaginable.

Muhammad recently completed his long-awaited book, called “Princoirs” – Memoirs of Prince Joe Henry, Ex-Negro Leaguer, which details the life and history of his late grandfather – icon, legend and baseball extraordinaire – Prince Joe Henry, who was born and raised in the historic township of Brooklyn (or Lovejoy), Illinois – America’s oldest African-American town and a connection point for Harriet Tubman’s Underground Railroad.

Muhammad attended undergraduate and graduate school at Western Illinois University, where he studied science, journalism and education and obtained academic degree accreditation. Since returning to the St. Louis area in the late 90s, he has spent time traveling and dedicating his life to reaching people through public speaking, workshops and seminars on various topics, including (but not limited to) these:

• Prince Joe Henry – Negro League Baseball’s Greatest Showman
• Gang Abatement
• Health, Wealth and Know Thy Self
• Self Actualization, Self Reliance and Responsibility
• Thinking Outside of The Matrix Box
• How to publish your book and promote it with little or no money
• How to publish your music and promote it with little or no money

Along with these subjects and for approximately 8 years, he taught life skills and job readiness on behalf of agencies, such as Better Family Life, Inc. and the Association of African-American Role Models – two of St. Louis’ most noteworthy socially-conscious career development entities. Muhammad has also appeared on various radio and television shows, such as On The B-Side with legendary disc jockey and radio personality, Edie B. Anderson, and tours the country on a regular basis.
